RULES FOR DATA PROCESSING AT OMNIOXY

We protect the confidentiality and security of all data you share with us. This is a priority for us. We do not sell collected data and we do not pass it on to third parties. These rules explain how we collect and process personal data.

When we collect data we act in line with all applicable law, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) and the Polish Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018 (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000).

Personal data controller  

The controller of your personal data is OMNIOXY S.A., with its registered office in Gdansk at ul. Trzy Lipy 3, 80-172 Gdansk, entered in the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court Gdansk-Polnoc in Gdansk, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS 0000800573, NIP 5862347313, REGON 383955080, referred to below as OMNIOXY, as well as our partners, meaning companies and other entities we work with on technology, operations or marketing.

Use of data  

When you fill in a form on our website or use the site and its features, you provide data of your own free will. We do not verify whether that data is true, and we process it in line with the clause attached to the form. Personal data are collected for the following purposes:

  1. Responding to a message or a phone enquiry

Where you send an enquiry, personal data are processed only for that purpose. How and how long we store them depends on the nature of the enquiry. They may be shared with other parties if that is necessary to reply or to prepare and send an offer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

  1. Marketing purposes

Processing for marketing purposes includes sending OMNIOXY guides, a newsletter with content about hyperbaric chambers, OMNIOXY and current promotions, and updates to these data-processing rules. The standard retention period is 10 years. You may ask us at any time to stop processing and storing that data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

  1. Performance of orders and contracts

In this case personal data are processed only for that purpose. How and how long we store them depends on the nature of the order, the warranty period and similar factors. They may be shared with other parties if that is necessary to perform the order or contract. Contracts may include extra rules on data processing. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.

Sharing data with third parties  

We may share contact data with third parties only to answer enquiries, to perform your orders, or after we receive clear consent, for example for reference lists. As a rule, personal data are not transferred outside the EEA. Under applicable law these may be parties that process data on our behalf, for example marketing or advertising firms and service subcontractors. Your data may also be disclosed to law-enforcement authorities if we receive a valid legal basis.

What are your rights in relation to your data?  

You may withdraw consent to data processing at any time. You also have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, and other rights described below. Details are in this privacy policy.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

 

  • access to data (Art. 15),

  • rectification (Art. 16),

  • erasure, the so-called right to be forgotten (Art. 17),

  • restriction of processing (Art. 18),

  • data portability (Art. 20),

  • objection to processing (Art. 21),

  • withdrawal of consent at any time – if processing is based on consent (Art. 7(3))

  • lodging a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Art. 77).

 

Anonymous statistics and “cookies”  

When you browse our website we may place data on your device in the form of cookies – files that let us recognise your browser on a later visit. Cookies are used for technical and statistical purposes and, after consent, for marketing.

You may change your browser settings at any time to block cookies, delete them, or receive a notice when they are stored.

The legal basis for analytical and marketing cookies is user consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). That consent may be withdrawn at any time.

 

While you use our website we may also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, time of visit and pages viewed. These data may be treated as personal data if they can be linked to a specific person. Otherwise they are anonymous data used only to analyse how well the site works.

Data security  

OMNIOXY applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep personal data secure and to protect them from unauthorised access, disclosure, change or destruction. The IT systems used to process data meet the requirements of the GDPR and national personal-data laws.

You have the right to access your personal data, to correct and update them, and to withdraw consent or object to processing without giving a reason. The controller will delete your personal data from the data set on your request, and in other cases required by applicable law.
